The Brazilian Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital (ABVCAP) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) came together in a new initiative to create a platform that facilitates the dialogue and development of business relationships between international investors and Brazilian fund managers and companies.

International Investors

This initiative provides qualified international investors with detailed information about the industry at-large and on fund managers active in Brazil. Participating international investors will have access to a secured-online GP directory that provides exclusive information about Brazilian funds including investment and sector preferences. Investors also receive for free a hard-copy of ABVCAP´s membership directory. Participating investors attend all events for free. The initiative also develops exclusive individual meetings between LPs and GPs according to the participating investor´s interests and requests.

Brazilian Fund Managers and Other Firms

This initiative aims to provide fund managers and other firms involved in private equity and venture capital opportunities to connect with international investors interested in Brazil. Participating firms have the opportunity to display their profiles through an online directory that is used exclusively by qualified international investors. All events organized by this initiative are free of charge to participating firms. Some of the events include Forums, Panels and business rounds between LPs and GPs. Participating firms also have the opportunity to speak at events.
