Brazil Breakfast - New York

ABVCAP and ApexBrasil held the Brazil Breakfast during the LAVCA Summit and Investor Roundtable, which took place between September 27 and 28.

The session gathered key players in the Brazilian private equity and venture capital industry to talk about Brazil´s current investment scenario and the continued interest from international players in the country.

Keynote Interview

Joe Leahy, Brazil Bureau Chief from the Financial Times interviewed Glenn Hutchins, co-founder of private-equity firm Silver Lake on the firm´s purchase of the Brazilian web hosting company Locaweb in 2010, and its´ most recent announcement to invest another US$ 1 billion in other Brazilian technology companies in the next five years.
